We were returning to Australia from the US after nearly 2 years away from home on a worldwide adventure. Sydney was our choice to reunite with family and friends, smash some eggs benny, get a good flat white and recover from jet-lag. Spending a weekend in Sydney is always a great experience. This time, we stayed in the charming neighborhood of Surrey Hills, which turned out to be a perfect base for exploring the city. The public transport system in Sydney, particularly the light rail, made it convenient to reach iconic spots like Circular Quay effortlessly. Here’s a recap of our memorable weekend in Sydney, Australia.
