- Start: We left Melbourne early, aiming to reach Kimba in about a day’s drive.
- Bypassing Adelaide: Shifting our approach to bypass the city, we took scenic rural roads, allowing for beautiful landscapes and easier driving.

- Final Stretch: The last leg of our journey was straightforward along the Eyre Peninsula, bringing us seamlessly into Kimba.
