Hi, I’m a dad, a husband, and a beagle lover. I’m 41 years old and I have a passion for engineering and travel.

I graduated with an engineering degree in 2005 and started working as an engineer at a power utility company in Australia. I enjoyed solving technical problems and learning new skills. I was promoted to middle management after a few years and got to lead a team of talented engineers.

I also loved to travel and explore new places. I took many holidays and backpacking trips with my family and friends. Some of my favorite destinations were New Zealand, Japan, Thailand, and Italy. I always had a sense of adventure and curiosity.

In 2018, I decided to take a severance package and move to the US with my wife. I got a job as a middle manager at another power utility company in New England. It was a challenging and rewarding experience, but I also missed my home country and my beagle.

In 2020, I took another severance package and moved to California to work as an engineering consultant. I enjoyed the sunny weather and the diverse culture. I also got to work on some interesting projects and meet some amazing people.

However, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I decided to return home to Australia with my family. I realized that life is too short and unpredictable to stay in one place. I wanted to see more of the world and have more freedom and flexibility.

That’s why I became a digital nomad and a freelance engineer. I now work remotely from anywhere I want, as long as I have a laptop and an internet connection. I also travel the world with my family and my beagle, experiencing different cultures and lifestyles.
